FAQ

The questions we hear the most pertain to our Pre-license course for Broker Associates. If you have a question that you cannot find the answer to here, please email or call our office and we will be happy to answer it for you.

Q.: “What is a Broker Associate?”
A: A Broker Associate in Real Estate is what many people know as a Realtor.

Q: “What do I need to do to register for a course?”
A: We prefer to schedule an appointment to go over course materials and the outline with you but if you are out of town or have a busy schedule that may not be possible. We are happy to take your information over the phone and ship you all materials that may apply to your studies.

Q: “How do the Exams work?”
A: Depending on the course you are taking, there may be an exam you will take in our classroom as well as one by the state. To be licensed as a Realtor you will have 3 exams outside of our classroom. We will walk you through how to register for those exams once you register for classes.

Q: “I am a licensed Broker Associate in need of continuing education to meet my required hours. What is the difference between an online course and one in the classroom?”
A: The best part about our online courses is convenience. You can pick up where you left off at anytime for up to 6 months after purchase. Online classes do require an exam upon completion. Our classroom is a live person with hopefully more entertainment and engagement with other students! There is no exam required with classroom continuing education.

Q: “How do I register for a course?”
A: The best way to register for our Pre-licence course to become a Broker Associate (Real Estate agent) is by scheduling an appointment with our office. If you do not live in the Sioux Falls area and are unable to meet personally no problem! We offer phone registration and ship all course materials to your door!
